Many thanks for this wonderful week in Kalymnos. Simon is really nice and choosed everyday some great spots. I gained a lot of climbing skills, made great improvement and felt really safe.

I can’t recommend Simon highly enough. We just did a 5 day course in a group of 8, the group contained all levels of ability from complete beginner, to more experienced climbers; we felt like a little family by the end of it. Simon planned each day of the week to make sure there was something for everyone, slowly building the difficulty as we got better. He has been working in Kalymnos for 15 years and knows the island inside and out; he knows the best ‘secret’ spots to take the group where you often have the climb to yourself. Simon is a fantastic coach, he will quietly but thoroughly watch each climber, and then suggest small improvements in techniques that make a HUGE difference in your climbing ability. I was one of the complete beginners, on day one I was struggling with 4A, by the end I was completing 5C+. Thanks so much Simon, it was epic.

I took a five-day climbing course with Simon in Kalymnos: after a year and a half away from gyms and cliffs, I wanted to refresh the foundations, get back to shape without injuring myself and overall develop the practice in outdoor climbing.
Simon gave us simple and efficient advice on training outdoor technique in and outside of the gyms, he spotted on day one the areas where I needed improvements and we consistenly worked on it.
In each session we discovered new routes in different locations with different challenges in incredibly beautiful settings.

Great one day climbing experience!

We spent a day climbing with Simon on 21 May 2015. Working with Myriam to set up the appointment with Simon was very easy. Simon showed up right on time at 0830 at the Philoxnia Hotel to take myself, my 26 year old daughter and my 22 year old son up a trail behind the hotel for some of the best climbing in the world. Simon challenged my experienced children with some difficult climbs with excellent instruction. His climbing skills are outstanding, after my kids struggled with a difficult climb called DNA that Simon had set, Simon proceeded to climb it barefoot and then also down climbed the same route. He was also very patient with my lack of climbing ability. I was especially impressed with his safety protocols. As I said, we started at 0830 and at 1700 Simon was still willing to guide and instruct us longer. Simon is an outstanding climbing guide, and I highly recommend his services to create a memorable experience.

I climbed for three days with Simon in April, 2014. He is careful and professional, and possesses detailed knowledge of Kalymnos climbing sites. Personal climbing coach and guide

Kalymnos climbing guide, Simon, was most excellent and professional in every way. My husband and I spent five days with Simon and learned so much. Throughout the 5 days we each increased our ability to lead by 2 grades. Simon brought us to all of the classic climbs, in the shade, during the hot summer month of July. None of our time was wasted searching for climbs or shade. The guiding company aided in the arrangement of our stay, rest day activities, dinning decisions, and of course our daily beach destination. Kalymnos is an amazing place to climb and Simon is an amazing teacher and an incredibly gifted climber. We hope to return soon!!
